Where did the stars go?

This address used to be all planets and birth charts. Now it's mostly code. Here's what moved, where it went, and why your old bookmark brought you here.

If you came here looking for the zodiac and found a blog about Node.js, hello. You didn't take a wrong turn. The house got redecorated, and I left this note on the door.

1. Same address, new furniture

Until October 2026, reflections.jaaniye.com was home to Jaaniye Reflections, a small library of articles about astronomy and astrology. It is now my developer blog, where I write about coding, AI experiments and the things I'm building.

The address stayed because I like it. Reflections still fits: these days it's me reflecting on what worked, what broke, and what I'd do differently.

Same address, different sky.

2. What happened to the astronomy and astrology articles

They've been retired from this site and have moved to parent site. Further articles about astronomy and astrology will be published there too.

If you miss one of them in particular, email me and tell me which. It helps to know which stars people still look for. I will add more on the parent site if there's enough interest.

3. Where the sky lives now

Astrology has a proper home at Jaaniye, on jaaniye.com. That's where you can generate your birth chart - Jaaniye Token and ask questions about it. The birth-chart widget that used to sit inside these articles moved there too.

One article made the trip with me: How Jaaniye's AI answers a question. It explains how the chart is calculated before the AI says a word, and it's still here on this blog.

Jaaniye is my own product, so I'm a little biased about it.

4. What you'll find here instead

Long-form notes on software and AI: how AI tools remember things, why Node.js suits AI agents, and what it takes to build an agent you can actually trust. No horoscopes, although I have been known to blame a stubborn bug on Mercury.

Every article ends with a discussion where you can agree, push back or ask. Stargazers are very welcome to join in.

The stars are fine. They just moved next door.

Thanks for following the address this far. Take your questions about the sky to Jaaniye, or stay a while and read about code.
